EVENTS, WEDDINGS, CONFERENCES

The Ararat Bowls Club is available to hire for all events, meetings, weddings, parties, conferences. All enquiries considered.

The club house provides tables and chairs for up to 100 people. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at bar prices.

Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Hall Hire:

  • Hire of the main hall is $200.

Bond:

  • A bond of $100 is required from all hirers of the facility.
  • The bond is returned after satisfactory inspection of the clubhouse and all equipment is accounted for.

Deposit:

  • The hirer’s booking is not confirmed until hire fee of $200 and a bond of $100 has been paid.
  • Refund due to cancellation of the booking is at the discretion of the Ararat Bowls Club.

 

Kitchen Hire:

  • No crockery or other kitchen equipment is to be removed from the clubhouse for any purpose.
  • No spit roast cooking is to take place inside or at the front of the facility.

 

Furniture:

  • Tables and chairs are available to cater for 100 people.
  • The removal of photos or shields or covering of fire extinguishers is strictly forbidden.
  • No items are to be pinned or taped to the walls of the clubroom.

Bar:

  • Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at bar prices – STRICTLY NO BYO
  • No bar credit available. If a bar tab is required the hirer’s nominated dollar amount must be paid prior to drinks being served.
  • EFTpos facilities available.
  • If special drinks are required this must be requested one (1) week prior to your event.
  • Ararat Bowling Club will provide the bar staff.
  • Bar license is to 1.00am

 

Cleaning:

  • The carpet is to be cleaned and vacuumed by the hirer and left clean by 10:00am the following morning.
  • The timber floor in the facility is to be mopped and left clean by 10:00am the following morning.
  • The toilets floors are to be mopped and left clean by 10:00am the following morning.
  • Hot water is to be used for mopping.
  • Strictly no detergents are to be used on the polished floor.

 

Access:

  • Access is available to the clubroom by negotiation with Garry Eason.

Ararat Bowling Club Financial Members:

For personal functions only, the hire charges for Ararat Bowling Club full financial members is waived.
