Hall Hire:

·        Hire of the main hall is $400

·        Sessional hire is $150 for three hours maximum usage.

 

Deposit:

·        The hirer’s booking is not confirmed until a deposit of $100 has been paid.

·        Refund of your deposit due to cancellation of the booking is at the discretion of managers Peter Paterson & Jim Dunn.

 

Bond:

·        A bond of $100 is required from all hirers of the facility.

·        The bond is returned after satisfactory inspection of the clubhouse and all equipment is accounted for.

 

Kitchen Hire:

·        Full hire of the kitchen facility is $300, includes cutlery, crockery, table cloths, salt & pepper shakers.

·        Cutlery and crockery available for 100 guests – it is the hirer’s responsibility to arrange for additional cutlery or crockery if required.

·        Partial hire of the kitchen facility is $65 - includes day to day equipment only - other equipment is locked away.

·        The kitchen will remain locked if not hired.

·        If outside caterers use the kitchen it must be left in a clean and tidy state with all equipment accounted for before the return of the $100 bond.

·        No crockery or other kitchen equipment is to be removed from the clubhouse for any purpose.

·        No spit roast cooking is to take place inside or at the front of the facility.

·        Washing of the table cloths is the hirer’s responsibility.

 

Access:

·        Access is available to the clubroom by negotiation with Peter Paterson or Jim Dunn.

 

Furniture:

·        Tables and chairs are available to cater for 100 people.

·        It is the hirer’s responsibility to arrange for additional tables and chairs if required.

·        The maximum number of people allowable is 150.

·        The removal of photos or shields or covering of fire extinguishers is strictly forbidden.

·        No items are to be pinned or taped to the walls of the clubroom.

 

Bar:

·        Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at bar prices – STRICTLY NO BYO

·        If special drinks are required this must be requested one (1) week prior to your event.

·        Ararat Bowling Club will provide the bar staff.

 

Cleaning:

·        The carpet is to be cleaned and vacuumed by the hirer and left clean by 10:00am the following morning.

·        The timber floor in the facility is to be mopped and left clean by 10:00am the following morning.

·        The toilets floors are to be mopped and left clean by 10:00am the following morning.

·        Hot water is to be used for mopping.

·        Strictly no detergents are to be used on the polished floor.

·        If you require the club to clean the floor the cost of this must be negotiated with Herbie Bourke prior to the event.

·        For personal functions only the hire charges for Ararat Bowling Club full financial members is 50% of the charges listed above.
